Are you looking to get some extra work over the winter holiday break? If so the Performance Academy Elite Girls Holiday Winter Break Offensive and Defensive Positional Clinic will help you prepare for the 2024 spring season.

Training will consist of offensive and defensive players running through a series of positional and group specific skills and drills that will lead into competitive play to utilize the new skills you learned in a controlled environment.

Positional Areas of Focus

Attack & Midfield: shooting, dodging, footwork, vision, playing with and without the ball, understanding spacing, being efficient with the ball, and much more.

Defense: Footwork, approaches, angles, defending picks, communication, on ball and off ball play, stick work, shooting, stick protection, defending picks, and much more.

Are you training with a purpose, working with full time professional coaches, doing drills that translate to actual play, taking quality “reps”, learning new skill sets, understanding why you are doing drills, or improving your lacrosse IQ while competing against your peers? If not, then the Performance Academy 2023-2024 Fall & Winter Boys Advanced Offensive & Defensive Group Lacrosse Training will focus on what you need to improve your overall game.

Each training session, participants will run through a series of advanced, high tempo, skills and drills that will lead to competitive play in a controlled environment. THE FOCUS WILL BE ON YOU.

Team Sweetness is not a club nor affiliated with any one program. This is an independent team composed of elite varsity players that will train together then compete vs. The Hill School, Freedom LC or Spring-Ford HS only in the Winter Boys Box Training and League at Steelyard Sports.

Understand how to set and defend picks as well as make quick decisions in tight spots, and much more. All in a safe and controlled environment.

  • The league will use modified box rules.
  • 4 vs. 4 plus a goalie.
  • No cross-checking, boarding, slashing, or open field hits.
  • Box goalie gear will be provided if needed.

Only 4 Teams Per Division & 9 Weeks of Team Training & Games

Are you and your team ready for the 2024 season? Looking to be trained by professional coaches to help prep you for the season in a safe constructive environment? No better way to do so than attending the Performance Academy Winter Box Training and League.

Powered by Performance Academy’s professional coaching staff. Each week teams will have a 45-minute practice followed by a 45-minute game. The season will end with the top two divisional teams battling for a Championship Trophy!

Divisions, Days & Possible Practice/Game Times

  • High School Boys – Fridays (6-7:30pm & 7:30-9pm)
  • 2028 & 2029- Saturdays (2-3:30pm & 3:30-5pm)
  • 2030 & 2031- Saturdays (11am-12:30pm & 12:30-2pm)
  • 2032 & 2033- Saturdays (8-9:30am & 9:30-11am)

Programs run December 1st through February 10th.

  • Team coaches are invited to join the Performance Academy Professional Staff during training sessions and may coach their teams during the game.
  • Teams must carry at least 13 players. Max 15
  • The league will use modified box rules.
  • 4 vs. 4 plus a goalie.
  • No cross checking, boarding, slashing, or open field hits.
  • Box goalie gear will be provided if needed.

Elite HS Girls Invite Only Winter Group Training & 4v4 Games

Saturdays from 2-3:30pm
December 2, 9, 16

Are you training with a purpose, doing drills that translate to actual play, taking quality “reps”, learning new skill sets, or improving your lacrosse IQ in a competitive environment that will prepare you for the 2024 spring season? If not, the Elite HS Girls Invite Only Winter Group Training & 4v4 Games will focus on what you need to improve your overall game and prepare you for the upcoming season.

Each 90-minute session will start off with 45 minutes of advanced positional, group and situational training. The last 45 minutes will consist of 4v4 play in a controlled environment using 6×6 goals.

Training Highlights

Goalie – clearing, outlook patterns, footwork, passing, eye hand coordination, playing the inside shot and outside shots, angles, and much more.

Attack & Midfield – shooting, dodging, footwork, vision, playing with and without the ball, understand spacing, being efficient with the ball, and much more

Defense – Footwork, approaches, angles, defending picks, communication, on ball and off ball play, stick work, shooting, stick protection, and much more.

Requirements For Program

  • Accomplished HS varsity player (All League, State, Conference, Region)
  • Started on a highly ranked club team.
  • Has committed to NCAA program or actively being recruited

Training Highlights

Understand how to set and defend picks as well as make quick decisions in tight spots, and much more. All in a safe and controlled environment.
